Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Layer Up

Sweater: Zara (similar here and here)
Shirt: Zara (similar here)
Leggings: Zara (similar here, here and here)
Boots: Sole Society on sale! (similar here)
Bracelets: J.Crew Factory and Baublebar
Watch: Daniel Wellington c/o, use code JUSTATINABIT for 15% off any DW product!

A fool-proof method for layering is to wear a button-up shirt under a loose sweater. This can sometimes create a preppy look so I spiced it up with leather leggings and these cut-out booties for an edgier twist.  Tina’s Tip: When layering, try mixing the texture, pattern, and/or color of your sweater and layering piece to add more interest to your outfit!

On a side note, I recently got this Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield Lady watch, and couldn’t help but wear it immediately since it’s so timeless and literally goes with any outfit. What’s even more exciting is that Daniel Wellington is offering my readers a 15% off discount on any Daniel Wellington product from now through 11/30/2014 with code JUSTATINABIT! Happy shopping!
