This pantry was STRESSING me out! I finally took everything out, tossed so many expired items, and grouped everything by category. The best part is that I barely bought any new containers!

Here’s what I did differently:
• Low-profile baskets for small snacks: I can actually see everything now instead of digging through big baskets of random snacks.
• Less decanting: I had way too many jars, and transferring everything was extra work for items we barely used.
• Labeled everything: I never really labeled before, which made it way too easy to forget what we had.
• Ditched the rolling can rack: Cans in the back were always getting forgotten so now I use a behind-the-door organizer where I can see everything at once.

I LOVE how this pantry organization turned out, and I’m actually confident we can keep it this way! 🙌🏼 #pantryorganization #kitchenorganizationideas

Hi everyone and happy Monday! Work was super crazy last week and I wasn’t able to get my usual Thursday post in. BUT I’m back and SO excited that it’s already Thanksgiving week! This year flew by incredibly fast, right??

Since I had such a busy week last week, I can’t tell you how ready I was for the weekend. And of course, any good weekend involves brunch! My boyfriend and I met up with a couple of friends to try out a new Seattle restaurant and we were definitely not disappointed. You can see my photo of our food here (no shame in standing up on my chair for this one hehehe).

So this is the casual outfit I wore to brunch. I am LOVING this new Madewell plaid shirt. I can’t tell you enough how soft and comfy it is – I felt like I was wearing flannel pjs! This plaid shirt is also oversized (fits true to size – I’m wearing an XS) and long so it would look great over leggings or slightly tucked with jeans like how I’m wearing it!

This plaid shirt could be “lumberjack-y” (and I’m totally all for that), but I wanted to spice up this fall outfit with these awesome BLANKNYC black ripped jeans (under $90) and some chic accessories. This infinity scarf from Forever 21 is only $17 and really good quality (I am so surprised by how well it’s made!). And these Nordstrom Halogen studded flats. Well, I’ve had these for two years now and they are still my go-to flats! I may have to wear this outfit again for our casual family Thanksgiving dinner. It’s cute and still gives me room to stuff lots and lots of food :).
