Second Pregnancy Announcement

I’m always late on sharing news on my blog, but if you missed it, I’m pregnant AGAIN! We are so excited to grow our family and give our little social butterfly, Olivia, a sibling to play with! Here are photos from our second pregnancy announcement that my friend Nick Leung Photography took for us!

It feels like yesterday when I announced my first pregnancy with Jeff and our three fur babies. Time sure flies! Two years later, I found out that I was pregnant again on Easter Sunday. Immediately after, my severe morning sickness kicked in and I fell off the face of the earth for two months. I even took pregnancy disability leave at work because I just couldn’t function properly. But I’m so relieved that my first trimester is over now and I’m finally feeling normal and energized during my second trimester! I know all of this will be worth it in the end 🙂

We took these second pregnancy announcement photos literally on the first day of my second trimester. It’s crazy how morning sickness can suddenly disappear like that. I didn’t have much time to prepare for it so I borrowed this white ruffle dress from a friend. It’s perfect for the light and airy feel I was going for. On me, I wore this white midi dress that I’ve worn so many times – it’s really a great neutral dress when you want to dress up a little bit and is very flattering in photos!

For props, I grabbed my letter board to make a quick sign that says “Here We Go Again Baby Two Due Dec 22.” I also taped my three sonograms to make them look like a single strip of photos. I love how simple and sweet these second pregnancy announcement photos turned out!

We’ve told her many times that there’s a baby in my belly. She’ll point to my tummy when I ask her where the baby is, but she probably doesn’t know what exactly it means for her yet lol.
