3 Classic Summer Trends

With fall just around the corner, stores are already starting to push out their warm weather looks to make space for the chillier styles. As most of us are gearing up to buy fall clothes, don’t forget that this is also the perfect time to stock up on your spring and summer pieces for next year. Think big savings!

I know, it can be a little tricky to know what will be “in” and what will be “out” a year from now. Thankfully there are three classic summer trends that you can always count on well into next summer. Check out these classic summer trends that won’t give you buyer’s remorse in 2017!

Colored Denim
This time of year, most of the jean collections start fading out their colored selections, pushing their classic blue and black denim pieces in their place. But you can get a great deal on the ones that are still available.

You can definitely continue to wear some of the more muted tones well into the fall and winter months. Try a trendy pair in a rusty red or brown tone, or my favorite, a pair of olive green jeans to add a fun accent to your fall and winter style. As long as you leave the pastels for spring, you should be perfectly fine!

Floral Dresses
Every year, you’re guaranteed to see a few top names in fashion call floral the “it” print of the season. It’s hard to tell if this go-to look even qualifies as a trend anymore, but nevertheless, it makes for an easy home run as far as clothing patterns go.

If you see a floral sundress in a timeless A-frame or maxi dress, be sure to snatch it up. You can bet that it will be just as popular next year, and the year after that. Throw on a pair of the trendiest sunglasses or sandals next season, and you’ll look as if you just picked up the dress that morning. I won’t tell anyone that it’s a 2016 model! For fall and winter, simply style your floral dress with some over the knee boots and a suede jacket!

Lace
Lace is timeless style, just like denim and floral. It’s elegant, feminine, and you can wear it in a many different ways. For example, transform your summer lace top by pairing it with black denim and a leather jacket. You’ll be ready for fall in no time! And if you keep the design classic, you can continue to get plenty of use out of it in spring and summer 2017 too!

You can feel confident adding any of these classic summer trends to your collection. So go shopping, save some money, and get a leg up on your wardrobe for next spring and summer!

Love these choices. I think I pick coloured jeans and lace tops over floral dresses. I tend to shy away from dresses in autumn/winter. I just get too cold.
