Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Spring Style in a Mesh Long Cardigan

Top: Club Monaco Lace Tank (similar here, here)
Bottoms: Topshop Skinny Ripped Jeans
Outerwear: Bobi Mesh Sweater Cardigan (sleeveless version here)
Shoes: Nordstrom Katrina Pointy Toe Ghillie Flat
Bag: Street Level Reversible Faux Leather Tote
Necklace: Madewell Arrow Necklace

The best part about spring? Spring style and pretty photo opportunities with gorgeous blooms! Am I the only one that gets excited about this? hehe Well needless to say, I’m excited to share this light layered casual outfit with you (with a side of cherry blossoms)!

I’m in love with waterfall outerwear right now and I was super drawn to this Bobi mesh sweater cardigan. I knew it would be perfect for spring and everyday wear. I bought this without even knowing that mesh was in right now, so hey, go me! For reference, I’m wearing an XS and this long cardigan fits true to size. It looks like the long sleeve version, which I’m wearing, is almost sold out. Luckily there’s also a sleeveless version available here. The black color for the sleeveless version is super cute!

Since the long cardigan is a solid neutral color, I wanted to make the outfit more interesting by playing with textures. I’ve had this Club Monaco lace tank forever (found similar ones here and here) and I just love how well it pairs well with mesh. Such a unique and different mix right?

Keeping this look very springy and casual, I went with neutral accessories and shoes. I can’t tell you enough how comfortable these Nordstrom BP lace up shoes are. They didn’t require any breaking in and the lace is extra long to wrap around your ankles and create a cute bow. They’re also only $60 and come in two other colors/prints. Even though the web site says that these run small, they actually were true to size for me. These lace up shoes are such a staple in my wardrobe and great for achieving that spring style look!
