Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Best Winter Accessories Under 50 Dollars

best winter accessories under 50 dollars
I don’t know about where you live, but it definitely feels like it’s already winter here in Seattle! Temperatures have dipped down to 35 degrees and all I’m thinking is “BRRRR!” With it being this cold, it’s essential to bundle and layer up in at least one or two winter accessories. So here’s a roundup of my favorite and best winter accessories under 50 dollars! You can click on the images below to shop the exact items!

I’ve been obsessed with scarves and don’t think I’ve left the house without wearing one the past month! I am lusting over both the red and white plaid scarves (#1 and #6) – they’re very holiday-ish but will work throughout the season! And ahhh, look at how beautiful the neutral scarf is (#11)! It’ll seriously go with everything and it’s sitting in my shopping cart as we speak :).

Keeping my head / ears warm is also important since I hear that’s where all your body heat leaves. Plus, I don’t mind sporting adorable beanies, especially ones with pom poms on them. The beanie (#3) that I found is under 30 bucks and comes in seven different colors! I’ve also been on a lookout for ear muffs that are cute, made of faux fur, and is of high quality. I think I found THE one here (#9). This is going in my shopping cart as well but I can’t decide between the grey, pink, or cream!

Hope this list of best winter accessories under 50 dollars is helpful and try to stay warm out there!!
