Believe it or not, most items I’m wearing in this look are less than $50! I recently purchased this Asos t-shirt dress and thought it would be a great basic piece for fall. I layered it here with a Topshop long utility vest, but can totally see it with a waterfall coat, black tights and booties, or worn plain with sneakers. The t-shirt dress is true to size. However, it is 100% cotton. With special care, I think it would only slightly shrink (just don’t dry it in high heat!).
I wore this t-shirt dress and vest combo a couple of weeks ago while shopping in downtown Seattle. I love wearing simple pieces like these when shopping since it’s much easier to try on clothes. Jeans can be such a hassle to get in and out of sometimes, am I right?
Let’s also talk about these beautiful Topshop Finest Ghillie lace up flats. I am OBSESSED and have been wearing them with every outfit! They are only $45 and sooo comfy! The shoelace stays put so you don’t have to worry about re-tying or having the lace up part fall down (I’ve had that happen with some of my other lace up shoes). I would definitely recommend these lace up flats at this price, plus, they also come in red and leopard!
