Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

New Orleans Edition: Scalloped Shorts w/ Puff Sleeve White Top

Top: Zara (similar here)
Shorts: Club Monaco Amber (available in solid, eyelet, chambray, and more; similar here)
Shoes: Halogen Olson Pointy Toe Flats
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Love Crossbody (also available here)

After giving up on trying to post outfits during my three-week vacation, I’m finally back! Here’s a look at an outfit I wore while in New Orleans. These leather Club Monaco Amber Scalloped Shorts are from last year but the style returned with many other different fabrics and prints this year! Since I had on black bottoms, I wanted to wear a white tee with slightly puffed sleeves on top to keep cool. It’s a pretty simple outfit but that’s how I like to dress when traveling! What has everyone been up to these last few weeks?

I love a scalloped short! I really need to get a pair to add into my wardrobe rotation. I'm debating a dark color (like a navy) or a lighter color like a pale blue or mint. So many decisions.

The shirt pairs so well with it and looks adorable! I'm glad you had a great trip!
