Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Casual Friday: High-Low Flowy Top and Steve Madden Booties

Top: Zara (similar here, here, here)
Jeans: Topshop (similar here, here, splurge on these)
Shoes: Steven by Steve Madden (similar here, here, here)
Bracelet: Gorjana Cuff c/o Rocksbox (similar here)

This simple top has been on heavy rotation as of late! Its flowyness is forgiving and comfortable (perfect for a buffet if you ask me), and the high-low cut adds interest and style. I paired the top with these Topshop jeans and my all-time favorite Steve Madden booties. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
