Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Warm Winter Day Remix: Polka Dot Dress and Long Cardigan

Dress: Madewell (similar here, here, here)
Cardigan: Forever 21 (similar here, here, here)
Shoes: Banana Republic (similar here, here)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff Avery Tote (similar here, here)
Necklace: Sterling Forever Pave Chevron Necklace c/o

If you ask me, I always wear everything I buy at least three to six times, or twelve, or thirty, ok just countless times! Earlier this week, you saw me in this navy polka dot dress styled with a long coat and scarf for a polished, classic look (see here). In today’s outfit, I kept the other pieces the same and traded the long coat and colorblock scarf in for this Forever 21 long crochet cardigan that you also saw me wear here. See what a difference one change can make?  That’s what’s so awesome about fashion, you can be so creative in your styling and have fun with it!

I just let you know on Instagram, but I love when bloggers repurpose items! It's way more realistic for everyday life, since most people can't afford to buy a dress, wear it once, and throw it in the back of a closet! I love this look. 🙂
