Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th Had to share one last recap of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary party because that clip of them dancing and my dad dancing with my daughters will forever be one of my favorite memories 🥹

My parents fled Vietnam in 1975 after the war ended. When they arrived in Washington to meet their sponsors, my dad happened to see my mom and aunt at the airport struggling and not knowing any English. He stepped in to help them then pursued my mom for the next six months. They got married shortly after in 1976 and the rest is history!

As recent refugees starting over in a new country, they didn’t have much money, so they had a small, simple wedding. That’s why I knew I wanted to make their 50th anniversary party extra special and give them the beautiful celebration they never had. Happy 50th anniversary to my parents!! ❤️🥂 #50years #anniversaryparty

Mixing It Up

Jacket: Blanco via Nordstrom (similar here and here, also love this)
Shirt: Zara (similar here)
Skirt: Pim + Larkin via Piperlime (similar here)
Shoes: Schutz (similar here and here)
Crossbody: Tory Burch
Accessories: Baublebar bracelets (similar here and here) // Asos and Nordstrom BP rings (check out these ring packs here and here)

There are days where I love to wear just black and white, and there are other days where I love to add color, mix prints, and play with different textures.  Today I incorporated all three of these aspects with a colorful patterned mini skirt, jaguar printed button-up, and a wine-colored faux-leather jacket for a detailed, fun look!  How do you like to mix prints and textures?
