I wasn’t planning on taking photos of this particular outfit, but as my boyfriend and I were walking around to grab a quick bite, we spontaneously decided to take a few snaps. We couldn’t resist the great lighting!
You can say that this is a very casual spin on a pencil skirt. The plaid/tartan print makes this skirt wearable for daytime, especially with a relaxed white tee (check this one out from Nordstrom for less than $20) and studded flats. The lace hemline also allows you to transform the skirt into a night time look with a dressy blouse and heels (I’m thinking this off-the-shoulder top and these ankle strap heels)! You can’t really go wrong with plaid, right?
